Write it down and it doesn’t keep you down.
I love journals. Especially the ones that look like they have already traveled the world with their own stories and adding mine to their pages would just be extra. But more often than not, the words come when I dont have a trusty journal in tow. So I grab what I have. It may be a napkin, the back of a receipt or the corner edge of a grocery list.
When the words come, don’t wait. Don’t tell that line of communication to call back later. Don’t finish the chore you are doing or even the shower you are taking. Side note, yes I’ve jumped out of many showers to jot down those rhymes that won’t leave me alone. Worth it.
Write it down.
Your breath will change after.
And so will your willingness to believe hope matters.
